Run one fair contest across every school in your region

Per-grade divisions, a fixed submission window every school shares, and one rubric applied identically to every entry — whether it comes from the 900-student school or the one with 40.

You can have

  • ✓one neutral standard across every school
  • ✓divisions that size the field fairly

How it works with MeritBoard

  1. 1

Create a group contest and invite the schools

Each participating teacher joins with a code and manages their own roster. You keep the rules, the window, and the rubric.

  2. 2

    Set your divisions

Divide by grade, by grade band, or by your own custom divisions. Each division gets its own podium, so small schools stay competitive.

  3. 3

Every entry meets the same rubric

Computer-assisted first-pass scoring, identical criteria across the region, with a written rationale you can show a pastor, a principal, or a parent.

  4. 4

You verify and publish one regional result

One public results page, certificates for every placing student, and share cards each school can post.

Before you start

How do we explain the scoring to our schools?

Send them our How Scoring Works page and the District Trust Packet. Computer-assisted first pass, teacher-verified and MeritBoard-certified result, nothing published automatically.

Is student work used to train AI models?

Never — across every school in the group. Entries are used to score that contest and nothing else.

Do our schools each need their own subscription?

No. Group contests let participating teachers join under the organiser’s plan. Multi-school and district pricing is on the plans page.

What about student privacy across schools?

Public pages show a first name and last initial or a screen name, and any student can be excluded from public display. Our security page has the details.
